The Climate Risk Landscape: Mapping Climate-related Financial Risk

UNEP

The Climate Pledge calls on signatories to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement and reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2040 through (1) Regularly measurement and reporting of their own greenhouse gas emissions; (2) Decarbonization of their business by improving efficiency, switching to renewable energy, and reducing material use and waste; and (3) Balancing out remaining emissions via meaningful, credible carbon offsets.

This UNEP Finance Initiative report summarizes developments in the field of third party climate risk assessment providers, in order to assist financial actors to characterize their physical and transition risks related to climate change.
